The initiation flight makes it possible to feel the sensations of flight as a pilot and to taste the pleasures of piloting. It consists of 15 minutes of theoretical briefing (pre-flight) to discover the aircraft and 30 minutes of driving (or 1 hour for gourmands), during which you can take orders if you wish, under the attentive eye of the instructor who will guide you during this first lesson of piloting and who will act in double command.
For regulatory requirements and security reasons, the size of the passenger can not exceed 1m95 and its weight 100kg. In ULM, there are two places: future passenger (and pilot? 🙂), so you will be alone on board with the ULM instructor.
It is not necessary to have a medical authorization. Nevertheless, we recommend that you consult the advice of a doctor in the event of a particular medical history or if you are pregnant. The minimum age to complete an introductory flight is 14 years old. A written authorization from parents is required for all minors.
The VI (initiation flights) are fixed on appointment with the instructor. If the weather conditions do not permit, the instructor will contact you and the flight is simply postponed.
On the day, you can park your car on the free private parking of Avioneta Principat or our partners. Equipped with your initiation flight and a piece of identification, the instructor will welcome you with a smile and will accompany you throughout your first flight! If you are accompanied, do not worry, we have chairs available for your loved ones.
For your flight, come with casual dress and seasonal clothing. If the sun is intense, take your sunglasses and / or a cap. In cold weather, opt for a fleece or a warm jacket to avoid getting stuck in the cockpit: our appliances are all equipped with doors and heating, do not be afraid to be cold!
Finally, do not forget your camera (secured by a strap to be on top!) To immortalize your first flight.
